The ‘Secret’ to making beautiful wine is to work hard at not give into the seduction of routine and instead to continue experimenting and pushing the limits by exploring new directions.

We challenge the convention of blindly following traditions established by others in distant places generations ago, instead preferring to make our own …and then challenging those… Sanguis wines are composed of any combination of a dozen or so grape varieties ignoring traditional rules by crossing the lines between Rhone, Burgundy, and Bordeaux varietals.
